Install & activate the plugin ~5 min

Upload JavisTab to WordPress the same way you would any premium plugin, then enter your license key to unlock updates.

  • Download the javistab.zip file from your DigitalZila account after purchase.
  • In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP, then Install Now.
  • Click Activate. A new JavisTab menu appears in your admin sidebar.
  • Open JavisTab → License, paste your key and click Activate License to enable auto-updates.

Set up your restaurant profile ~5 min

Tell JavisTab who you are. These details appear on confirmation emails, invoices and the booking widget.

  • Go to JavisTab → Settings → Restaurant.
  • Enter the venue name, address, phone, logo and timezone — the timezone drives every reminder time.
  • Set opening hours per weekday, plus holidays and closed days so guests can never book a slot you’re shut.
  • Pick a default currency (USD / VND / EUR) and the booking lead time (e.g. minimum 2 hours ahead).
🌐Like Booking.com & Trip.com: accurate opening hours and a clear timezone are what stop double-bookings and missed slots — set them carefully before going live.

Build your tables & floor plan ~10 min

Recreate your dining room so the live layout shows exactly which tables are free in real time.

  • Open JavisTab → Tables and add each table with a name/number and seat capacity.
  • Group tables into zones (Indoor, Terrace, Private Room) so guests can request a preferred area.
  • Drag tables onto the visual floor plan to match your real layout.
  • Optionally enable auto-assign, which seats each party at the smallest suitable free table.

Define time slots & packages ~10 min

Control when guests can book and what they’re booking — set turn times and any deposit you require.

  • In JavisTab → Time Slots, set the booking interval (e.g. every 15 / 30 minutes).
  • Set a turn time (how long a table stays held) and max covers per slot to avoid overcrowding the kitchen.
  • Create service packages (Set Menu, Tasting Menu, Birthday) with a price and description.
  • Add a deposit or full prepayment rule per slot or package to cut no-shows.
📉Industry practice: a small refundable deposit on peak slots is the single most effective no-show reducer used by OpenTable-style platforms.

Connect payment gateways ~10 min

Take deposits and full payments online. Always test in sandbox mode before switching to live keys.

  • Go to JavisTab → Payments and enable the gateways you need.
  • VietQR: enter your bank account, account name and bank code to auto-generate a QR for each booking.
  • Stripe / PayPal: paste your API keys; start with test keys, place a sandbox booking, then swap to live.
  • OnePay: add your merchant ID and secret hash to accept local Vietnamese cards.
🔒Security: never share secret keys. Keep them only in JavisTab → Payments and rotate them if your site is ever compromised.

Configure notifications ~10 min

Automatic confirmations and reminders are what turn bookings into actual arrivals.

  • In JavisTab → Notifications, edit the email templates for confirmation, reminder and cancellation.
  • Set reminder timing (e.g. 3 days, 1 day and 6 hours before arrival).
  • Connect your Zalo OA by pasting the OA token to send messages and enable the chat widget.
  • Add Twilio SID and auth token to send SMS reminders to guests without Zalo.

  • Enable CRM in JavisTab → Customers to log visit history, spend and notes (allergies, VIP).
